Then try Feels then try Sung Tongs. Go Strawberry Jams over Merriwether though, it's more daring and dark but still pretty accessible and fun.

Then once you're a full blown AC fan, go for Centipede Hz. You REALLY have to love them to appreciate that album.

That's the first I've heard of someone just not being interested in Animal Collective any more. People tend to either just not get them, think nothing of it and move on, find them strange yet compelling and gradually grow more interested, eventually falling in love with them forever or hear them, whinge about how synthesisers are killing music and prick around on their forums.

Holy shit Centipede Hz is inaccessible. Loving me some of dat Today's Supernatural though. It's all very messy but I presume I need to give it multiple listens.

I also listened to Strawberry Jam once, it's pretty good but I don't think it'll top MPP for me.

I listened to all of Centipede Hz the other day and then put on "The Purple Bottle" and remembered how much better Feels is than the rest of their albums.
