I'm not much of an Animal Collective fan but, naturally, that album name always reminds me of the place

It's an alright venue, definitely not worth naming an album after though. Pretty much a typical big outdoor concert place with a big stage. In fact I always preferred Nissan because you can smoke weed there and nobody really gives a fuck. Where'd you grow up?
And clutknuckles is right, Sung Tongs is definitely their best. |

When I saw Morrissey at MMP in 92 they didn't have a handle on the weed smoking situation at all. I think it was the first time I smoked good hashish

I'm just getting into them. I only listened to Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished and Danse Manatee a couple of times, so I started from the start. I don't know...they're interesting. I can't say I feel it all the way just yet, but I can see it growing on me. I think I like Danse Manatee a bit more. Anyway, their music certainly has the power to make me want to hear more.
So, a question for the fans - What should I check next? Also, I have to say that I usually like avant garde and experimental side of pop music, so that's not a problem. What album has the right balance of avant garde and pop?
