Strawberry Jam's gotta be my favorite album by them. It's what got me into 'em, and it's what's kept me with them for the past year or so. I just picked up Sung Tongs and Campfire Songs though, so I'll have to evaluate those in the next few days.

Also, hey everyone, I'm new.

I like AC, but MPP was seriously overrated last year--people would not shut up about that album. It was good, but not THAT good.

Feels is probably my favorite, thinking on it. "Grass," "Banshee Beat" and especially "The Purple Bottle" are all great.

MPP is just a really average LP, certainly not warranting the critical praise it got, as the previous poster said good but not that good.

Quite possibly, yes.

If any AnCo album falls under that category, it's Sung Tongs.

MPP is in my top 10 of the decade for sure.

Hating on MPP is cool now, so everyone be does it.

Exactly. This is a real shame, because when hearing all this praise, one may start to think they see what has been negatively said about it, rather than listening to it from an unbiased perspective. I love the album, and I think it's very nearly perfect. Surely one of my top ten or fifteen of the decade.

If you're reading this, don't pay attention to the negative opinions surrounding the album recently, or the overly positive opinions, for that matter. Just pick the album up, and you may be very pleasantly surprised.

Oh? Those are two of my favorites. When Panda Bear first sang "At the EEEEEEEEEEEND of the DAAAAAAAAAAAY... when there's no one.... watchIIIIIIIING" I knew I loved the album. No More Runnin' is great too. I can't pick a least favorite track. Taste and Guys Eyes are really underrated and often overshadowed though. They might be my favorites.
