Talk Talk will always be the best post-rock group.

Lately as far as post-rock goes I've been enjoying Daturah, The End of the Ocean, and Immanu El's new album Moen.

And though I said I steer away from post rock, I downloaded a couple things tonight. Daturah was one of them. Also, I like Street Horssing a lot, but it's not really post rock. Tarot Sport definitely is. They're both damn fine albums though. I hope FB sticks around for a while. |

Im kinda new to post rock, have listened to a bit of Hammock, Sigur Ros, Mogwai, and Mono. I would like to listen to more, but there is so much other music I also really want to hear, and getting into each new post rock album tends to take me a lot of time that I have to devote to concentrating on the album a few times before it grows on me, which is kinda a turn off. Every band I have gotten into is one of my favorite bands, it just takes a lot of work for me to get into a band.

Well yeah I agree, but I realized I sounded like a dumbass saying that because Street Horssing was most definitely a post rock album. I'm with you there though, I think a lot of people liked Street Horssing more but I personally loved the direction they went. I don't think I could really label either of the albums as better, they're both just different and 2 of my favorite albums. I can't imagine ever getting bored with them... they just seem to get better and better the more I listen

Anybody into El Ten Eleven? Just a duo combining Bass and Drums with looping their own riffs? I think this is bloody great:
