Just looked at Slam's myspace, that has to be the greatest myspace page ever. There is a looping image of a panda rolling on grass, that's awesome.

Duh, dude. Slam played that show. His name is Christopher, and he also runs the Sacrosanct Opuscule label that puts out Slam's stuff. He was also a vocalist in She Notes The Chariots. I was standing directly to the right of the camera. There is a video of this show as well:

YouTube - SPITTING COBRA vs. LETTERS IN BINARY

Great show. One of the best ever.

Hope you were wearing earplugs, my ears would be bleeding.

*sigh* if only more bands were like that.....out in the open anyway.

I enjoy listening to Tiger and the Duke and The Ocean and the Sun, but they did something wrong in Lover, the Lord Has Left Us...
Has anyone watched their dvd?

I think they're good but some parts is quite boring.

I can see why people dislike Lover, the Lord has left us, but to me it's their best. Tiger and the Duke is good but those interludes are too drawn out. The new one just doesn't appeal to me at all (aside from Cellophane, which is an exellent track).

I love The Ocean and the Sun. The title track, Cellophane, Another Leather Lung, Uzbekistan, and The Heraldic...etc are all unreal imo.
