From what i can tell, a lot of the frustration here is coming from a place of ignorance and a lack of understanding of the situation and what kind of guy Merit is. I saw the original post and am glad he got banned for it. It wasnt just some silly jab, it was blatantly homophobic and written in such a way as an attack toward that community.

I'd also like to point out that the people that did see the post are having no problem accepting the ban. Just some food for thought.
