Nah, I think I would. The point still stands on how the mods sit idly by when someone they don't like gets railed by personal attacks, but when those people turn around and do the same thing back they get warned/banned. It's just annoying to see mods with evident bias claiming their actions to be based wholly in virtue and rule.

But I'm not defending Merit on the supposedly ****ed up things he said. Like I said, I'd like to see the evidence of it because seeing as it's all been purged. Most of what I saw was him parroting the "keep it to yourself" way of thinking, which a lot of people with traditionalist values hold. Sure it's partially based in homophobia, but it's not inherently oppressing anyone as many of these same people will actively support the right to express these very things. I don't think he was even treating the original issue of his MMA search getting invaded by pride material. He just saw it as wacky, like many traditionalists would. I can hear Batlord a mile off that even an observation such as that is rampant homophobia, but if you just take a step back for a second, you'll see it's not really as flagrantly evil as you may think.

Personally as a Jew to whom Merit has acted amicably towards in the past, I'd like to see the glaring anti-Semitism that was supposedly bad enough to get him banned.
