Why did we need another mod, exactly? I mean at least grindy's a solid pick, and definitely a better pick than some of the picks made during the previous round of mod hirings lol

:confused: What are you talking about? Exo, Frownland, Isbjorn and Plankton are greatest bunch of guys I know here. I think of them as my friends - no idea what they think of me, but that's besides the point. Even Janszoon, Burning Down, Vanilla, Goofle11, and Veridical Fiction I considered friends - again no idea what they think of me. I like Urb he was hilarious, no idea what he thought of me - that's all besides the point. Anyway I don't see where you're coming from with your bellyaching over who they modded the last time around.

Hey, so long as nobody has asked me I say we're doing alright with mods. It's not like we're electing people to enact world peace, just ban spammers and discourage trolling. I'm sure grindy can reach the low-hanging fruit we ask our mods to grasp for.

A lot of, actually. Some aren't even mentioned in the post. Seems like modding people these days is becoming more of a popularity contest. The mod list could literally be cut in half and there'd be no difference.

I don't know if you are green with envy or not. I was just riffing on what Lins said.

I've seen a few members who get mod and something down the line happens and they stop frequenting the forum. I not saying it's bad luck or anything becoming a mod. But unfortunately the forum loose mods just like other members. The last batch of mods were necessary - I don't know who bothers you as a mod. They seem like a decent lot.

You know, modding is really a behind the scene sort of thing. It's not like we're a big site like Reddit where the mod team is as important as the content itself. A little of both. I only know a minimal amount. I know basics, but not enough for conversation. I typed what I wanted to say in Google to make sure I said it right. I already have the grammar police after me for butcher the English language. Notice I said "grammar police" and not the other, like I said I find Third Reich puns a bit cringey.
