Should Carpe Mortem be named newest mod?

Both have expressed interest.So an offer is the polite way. never was one for mutiny or power grabs it's just bad form.

I don't care that they have shown interest unless they intend on being more active, even if it's just behind the scenes. If they already are active and I just haven't noticed then ignore my previous comment.

Which is why she suggested at least offering it to them first. But personally I'm not 100% sold that seniority is always a better choice. I also wouldn't promote a user who has only been here six months, either.

JD = WWWP? It's been so long since I've seen that name I can't remember if it's the same person. I think she'd do a fine job, but Fetcher is far too inactive. Idk who decides but her and Carpe are both suited for the job.

Why anyone would want that job is beyond me. I think you'd make a fine mod though Carpe, but there are others that do have some seniority, and that should count in the decision process.

I know Urban left, but it seems a bit too soon for this sort of thing anyway, imo.

I don't think seniority should matter that much. Goofle hadn't really been around along as a lot of other people when he got modded (even I was here almost a full year before), but I'd never as a third party nominate myself, even if I were willing to do it.

I'm not privy to the decision process of who gets chosen.

Seriously, I too think it's way too early. If there's a decision that a new mod is required then you could put your name forward, but at the moment (if you're serious) this is too soon.

Of course, you could enforce a hot new dress code, so...... ;)
