As I wrote a long time ago, the short nonsense posts rule should either be enforced or it should go. If my suggestion to consistently and equally punish with infractions was adopted, and there was no rule against short posts, then such posts wouldn't break the rules and would not be punished.

You know, consistency between theory (rules) and practice (enforcement).
