I didn't notice it. I just went back and looked at it though. I'm a little lost by all the soccer references since I know very little about the ins and outs of the rules of the sport, but what you're describing seems pretty much like what we do already so I guess it seems like something I might agree with.

Thanks Jansz, however tore has told me I can't discuss it here, so I'm going to make another thread specifically to discuss it. Is that ok with you mods? I didn't want to seem like I was going up against him, just showing another way, but he doesn't see it that way: my suggestion is "off-topic" apparently so I have no choice.

I'll formulate and work on it a bit more and then I'll invite suggestions.

Not sure why he'd be opposed to alternate rule proposals in a thread that's focused on that very topic but, sure, go for it.

I just think discussing one suggestion in this thread is enough. I don't want this hijacked by a discussion about an entirely separate system. Now, TH is complaining that noone's responding to his proposition. I think he could make it more visible if it had it's own thread. Also, the discussion of his proposition won't get disrupted by the discussion of my proposition and vice versa. It's a win-win.
