My only sources of music suggestions at 14 were FM radio and MuchMusic.
Yes it was/is very endearing seeing someone so young be so obsessed with music. I was sorely dissapointed neither of my nephews was into music, despite our efforts. :/

I started getting into music in my pre-teens, mostly through MTV or various video shows on national tv. I used to tape them to get the ones I liked.

I'm in the same boat with my two nephews.

I was one of those people who would wait for a song to come on the radio and record it. I also had tapes of music videos.

I remember making mix tapes from the Casey Kasem Radio countdown shows. Each ****ing song had the first 2 seconds cut off and ran another second or two long.

A simpler time...

Heyyy, Marie is right, it's been a difficult school year for me and I decided to stop using internet for a while to rest a little bit this summer. Thanks everyone for remembering and caring about me!! Oh, and by the way, I'm already 16...
Also, thank you ribbons, for the video you posted, absolutely superb!!
P.S. There aren't dangerous fires where I live, but the weather in Spain this summer is being definitely unbearable.

Hey, Eleanor, glad to see you back.

Hear anything interesting during your hiatus?

So you didn't die in a fire?

Uhm, actually yeah...I'm now a Julio Iglesias fan lol
Apart from him, I've also got a bit more familiar with singers such as Sinatra and Andy Williams. I mean, they're not my favourite singers, but I like the way they sing.
Oh, and also, I knew about Neil Diamond before but I recently got more familiar with his music, and I think he's really really nice.
So, during these last months I haven't been that much into rock, and I've been enjoying some easy-listening stuff instead.

Are you insinuating something?

Why would I be insulating something?
