I mostly stay away from those threads and even if I post a bit I don't take all that stuff personally or particularly seriously. I've seen some pretty heated **** going down way before election season, but it certainly did add a whole lot of emotions to the disussions.

I wouldn't call it cut-throat. I'm certainly very passionate about it and I try to research things in depth before making statements. The grade school name calling gets a bit old after a while. I mean I'm obviously very strongly for Clinton which can also be said as being very strongly against Trump this election. I have very definitive reasons why based on ideology, and how each candidate might affect my life for the next 4 or more years. I'm a much older dude so it means a lot more to me than I think it might to some of the younger members here who treat it very flippantly at times.
