No, it's not. Some rules I feel a degree of discretion is required based on the context of the post. In instances where people just feel like being smart arses, but are ultimately harmless, I feel more inclined to look the other way. When someone does it to prove a point everyone always knows, then smugly turns around and expects everyone to being as impressed with their genius as they certainly are, I have reservations.

There's no "genius," in fact this is about as basic as something can be. When someone drops a one-word/gif post solely to be an annoying prick with no intention of contributing anything to the conversation whatsoever, it's spam/trolling and should be deleted 100% of the time.
