Part of me is wondering where sopsych is and why he hasn't come out of the woodwork yet to bitch and moan about this.

Hey! Somebody let me in on this! Who's sopsych??
edit never mind, did some sleuthing and found it on my own. Dude seemed like a prick but it's funny how defensive people get whenever someone raises any sort of criticism about this forum, whether his was reasonable or not. |

Also, he hates songs that are longer than 6 minutes. http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...ong-songs.html |

don't worry, we're not. It seemed like he was universally hated and even made terrible threads with ridiculous music opinions, so while we may have both caused quite a stir by *gasp* raising issue with something on the forums, I just don't think I'm universally hated (although certainly some people hate me obviously since Trollheart felt it necessary to block me lulz)/completely worthless in terms of musical opinions like that guy was. |

I won't recall posting this and, even if I do, I won't respond to your smartypants reply so don't bother. EDIT: I forgot to make an on-topic post so here's one: This whole thread is ridiculous bullshit that makes Music Banter look like just another really silly internet thing  |
I'd just like to drop this in if I may, other side of the coin so to speak.
After supposedly not making one new member welcome by querying his decision to post the same thread twice (all of which led to my putting YD on Ignore) I apologised if I had caused offence. This person had not even the decency to acknowledge, never mind accept that apology. That's fine if a little rude. Then this same member made a few snide, pointless posts in a thread I posted in and when I asked him to explain himself, to clarify why he had said what he said all I got were more one-word snide replies. So you see, apart from established members not making noobs welcome, it can be the case that people come here as noobs, deliberately ignore etiquette and make themselves unwelcome. Some people don't deserve to be welcomed. Won't stop me welcoming noobs when I can but I just wanted to point out that it's not all one-sided. There are people who come here and expect after a wet day to be able to act as if they own the place and know everyone, which of course links back to the SYG thread. |
Basically I have learned that no matter what Trollheart can not be stopped from being a generally accepting welcoming member.
