When you ppl make a joke it's totally fine but when other ppl do it it's redundant..

i rather have a forum full of wanna be comedians than to argue for 7 pages with real talk, and yes we pat each other on the back for making silly jokes and im glad we do because this forum is full of ppl who love to make you look stupid and argue in circles even though the arguments go nowhere and always lead to resentment.

I don't get it, is the spirit of this forum is to be an elitist music assh*le looking down on everybody?

I think he meant that, he reopened it because everyone wanted a turn at this meat whistle. I know I did. I think he means, that while it is indeed funny, it also lost steam really quickly. So See 'Spill Your Guts' for more entertainment.

I think you misunderstood what I was saying. If I was elitist like you claim I am I would have left it closed in the first place so only the other mods get their say in, as they did it I thought only fair the forum should.

He's now been gone over a week and people are either not talking about it or just laughing about what happened on the first page. I felt it had come to the end of it's natural life and closed it, that's the kind of decisions I have to make as a mod. Someone else disagreed and re-opened it without saying why and I have no idea why because it's basically being filled up with junk.

I understand your point and even agree with Urban the joke is not funny anymore, but he made his jokes and no one called him a wannabe comedian.

And i have nothing against Urban or anybody here but i always thought that kinda dickotry of putting ppl down is encouraged and applauded here rather than being friendly with other members..

That's why i left MB for a long time cause i thought this place was full of jerks, i didn't feel any sense of community friendliness which i think is important especially when you trying to fit in in a new place.

Don't get me wrong some ppl were friendly to me like Trollheart and Pedestrian but the majority of members seemed like assh*les to me

Now i think MB has gotten better, i think now there is a balance between Jerky humor and friendly members..

Anyway, i apologise if i seem like im instigatin things, i won't say anymore on the subject.

Yes I agree with you that, people should choose their words more carefully at times. But for the most part, if anyone has ever joked with me and taken it too far ( which that has never happened EVER!) I have a mouth quite capable of cussing them out right proper!
