Hi there,
I am new here but I have a question/idea :bonkhead:

Why can't Rock have its own Forum and not joined with Metal?

Would make sense to have a place only for rock so users don't have to look around in between threads about metal.

Punk as its own Forum and I think its a smaller genre compared to Rock.
Shouldn't Rock have its own place?

As far as I know, punk is actually a subgenre of rock. However, as a rock, but not much metal fan, i think it is not good idea. It is good now. And also especially classic rock forum is kinda dead anyway.

Also then soon we should have a sub-frum for every ****ing sub-genre and it would be mess. I am not a moderator or particularly wise, but i think that forum works allright as it is.

It already has 3 different forums, it doesn't need anymore.

I mean for a main forum...
in my opinion it doesn't make sense to have a main forum for Punk and not for Rock.

Its a question of usability also, there are more ppl searching for rock than for punk,
why not make it easier for rock fans.. more accessible?

Rock and Metal are often blurred. And Punk didn't get its own forum because we like Punk. Punk got its own forum because those people are unsocialized animals in a constant purity war among themselves.

Its best to keep such people quarantined.

And that is why indie has it's own forum too? Now nobody have to to talk with those hipsters and discuss those the- more-obcure-it-is, the better-it-is bands? ;)

Rock is not a sub-genre.. it should be a main topic.
And as a rock fan I am deeply offended by this blasphemy!

Look at the forums. If you can't find a forum to post your topic to, I don't know WTF to tell you, dude.
