Look to see if what you want to post about already has a thread

If it doesn't, If you want to post about old rock music post in the Classic Rock/60s rock/ Rock n roll forum.

If you want to post about progressive rock or psychedelic rock do it in that forum.

If you want to post about new rock music or any other type of rock music post in the Rock/Metal forum.

If you're still unsure post it in the General Music forum.

I can't make it any simpler.

Thats the thing, it should be simple... ppl shouldn't have to think much where to post, it should be obvious.
To give u an example: I was looking for the place to post about Modern Rock and I couldn't find it.

This is my suggestion, you don't have to agree with it neither be rude.

It's all pretty self explanatory to anyone who can read.

But this is my suggestion, you don't have to agree with it.

So precisely how does the rock/metal forum fail to accommodate that. Start a thread titled "modern rock".

If there are ten new posts in the Rock/Metal section when I open MB then I consider it a busy day. How much are you actually having to sift through to get to what you want? There is no need to go out of our way to solve a problem that doesn't exist. Especially since this would involve futilely trying to get the attention of the soulless monsters who own this forum and haven't responded to, or possibly even read, a single complaint or suggestion, no matter how important or trivial, that we've made to them over the years. If we wanted new emoticons we would be completely SOL, so how much do you think they're actually going to care about this?

Rhetorical questions still get question marks.
