Definitely sounds like a good idea. I'm tired of seeing one-word posts that are quite obviously just there to make up the count. Mind you, if you raised the post count to maybe fifty, fewer trolls would possibly be bothered. Fifteen isn't that much: post in ten threads and one or two in another subforum and you're there. Fifty seems like a harder goal to attain.

Also, is there any way to restrict it to meaningful posts? Even on the basis of word count? Say, a minimum of ten words counting as a post? Probably not, but I thought I'd ask anyway. And, too, can the posting of YouTubes be actually restricted to "approved members", as it were? People come here saying "sorry I can't post until I have 15 posts" but we know that's not the case, and once they learn they can even the idea of getting to 15 posts is sort of pointless.

Even if there were, its hard to denote what meaningful is from word count. One word spam would probably be deleted before the month is up.
