check under Documents and you should have a text file that says privatemessages with your username, todays date and you should be able to open it with notepad.

Thanks but no: I have two of those files but both are from 2012. Seems the conversion is not being made correctly, unless I'm doing something wrong? Select messages/select save as text/ hit go?
