Besides that thread is now degenerating into the world's most boring argument about f-ucking grunge which is the world most boring form of music so I guess it stands to reason.

Actually it's become a pretty entertaining dismantling of your argument and a point by point confirmation that you don't know wtf you're talking about. Your entire argument is based on what you perceive as the MTV reaction to the Nevermind album

It's not grunge I hate so much as the idiotic reaction to it. A-ssholes acted like they'd never heard music in their lives. They couldn't get enough of it and it put a lot of bands out of work that had been doing well..

You posted that thread, and you make a statement like

What?? You're telling me that grunge didn't blow donkey cock? C'mon! Grunge destroyed music even more than rap did. When grunge appeared on the scene, that was all the young idiots of America wanted to listen to and everything else fell by the wayside. Bands couldn't get hired if they didn't play grunge. Everybody had to sound like Nir-vomit and Hurl Jam and Stone Pimple Toilets.
It was a disgrace. F-uck grunge and f-uck Seattle. Ten times worse than Detroit.

And then when challenged on this (which you should thoroughly expect when you post a statement like that on a MUSIC DISCUSSION forum) you CLEARLY demonstrate that you do not know ANYTHING about the Seattle music scene from that era unless it came from Empty Vee.
Urban (whom I really miss) said it best

Stick to talking about music from the 1920s or whenever. It's clear you're way out of your depth when talking about anything from the last 30 years.

...although I would make the argument that it's closer to 40 years. In any case, your credibility is zero on any rock-era music topic except maybe bubble gum. No wonder you don't want that thread stickied. I originally voted no but I would be sorely tempted to change my vote now as a shining example of a bumbled, ham-fisted attempt at debate, like a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest. Reviling an entire genre of music when you clearly don't even know what it is.
