Like I mentioned earlier, the moderators do a fantastic job in approving the posts. They don't have to be as quick as they are but they do it so us as members feel good about the fact that our journals are getting updated frequently and that people will see them. I also find that they do a great job at being civil. For example; They don't push people away from the journal section just because they're new, everybody gets a chance and they also have no problem closing an old journal so a member can start a new one. So...they go out of their way to make us happy because they want us to feel good about our journals. As it's been mentioned, Trollheart made the journal section far more lively now than it used to be with his weekly update thread. Because of that, it pushes me to get at least one journal entry in my journal a week just so I can 1) express my creative thoughts in my journal, and 2) so my narcissistic attitude can be happy with what Trollheart has said about my journal. I also think new members have seen his update thread and have thought "man, i would love people to see my journal" and that motivates them to post more. If you think the mods aren't doing their job in terms of journals, you are obviously missing something.
