Banned Question
 

Hello,
I am a friend of CrazyVeg'n who was banned on 7-16-2013 with this message:

You have been banned for the following reason:
derailing threads, bickering with members, baiting members to argue with you.

Date the ban will be lifted: 07-23-2013, 11:00 PM

When she checked back by accident she was confused by a new message:

You have been banned for the following reason:
derailing threads, bickering with members, baiting members to argue with you.

Date the ban will be lifted: 08-18-2013, 02:00 PM

We would like to know why dates have changed for a longer ban time. In her own words: "Especially considering the fact others baited/insulted me as well, a week's ban wasn't necessary, yet alone a month's extension."

I myself have been a lurker here awhile and did not see where she had done anything worse than other members behave on a regular basis. Did anyone else think the same and that she is undeserving of this? Seems a bit harsh!

We feel this should brought to the public's attention for clarity, perception, and fairness.

Feel free to PM me, there's no need to advertise it to the forum. To answer your question it was discussed that Crazyvgn did not in any way improve from the last ban so it was decided that a month would be more appropriate. I would suggest that Crazyvgn reads the rules carefully and if she follows them there will be no more bans or infractions. If she is still unclear on the behaviour that needs to improve she can PM any of our Moderators.
