And no one pays to be here, either. We are all here of our own accord and as you know the mods do this for free. All the more reason to take it or leave it.
But clearly some of us have done what we can to keep the trust alive - up to and including screenshots of the log, which is above and beyond if you ask me.

I don't think she's suggesting anything is done.
There ARE mods who delete posts, so it was kind of hard to trust at first. I think this has gotten out of hand because mostly everyone is super over it, even Meg, who tried to "leave" the conversation where it was. So I feel like until this situation comes up again, which it will, this thread shouldn't be causing anymore issues. |

I don't think it's out of hand per se - it is a reflection of the bigger picture. IMO the mods have improved in leaving unrelated posts because in doing so it stimulates conversation flow and maybe they see the confusion it causes finally. It is like pulling the rug from under our feets.
So AwwSugar was wrong this time, but why does she have trust issues?.. Today a post by Necromancer disappeared. He erases a lot of his own words so that is probably what happened. Yes, Aww, it will happen again to innocent posts deemed off topic so leave this thread so your saved post can be pasted here. Personally I like when ppl post anything on my threads - I take it as a compliment even if it becomes derailed to high heaven. That is like the funnest thing for me on forums to read (and lurkers too I suspect). Besides everything is interrelated anyway. |

If Necromancer had a post deleted or deleted one of his own posts then that's between him & the mods, nobody else.
And this whole post deletion thing is totally being blown out of proportion. Nobody is conspiring to remove anybodies posts. Do you really think I come here to be berated every 5 minutes because someone's post has disappeared? And if people think I'm going to write out a PM everytime I delete a whole bunch of of Lul Wut or gif posts from several people in the music forums think again. Use common sense when posting and you won't have any posts deleted. You don't see members like Bob, Unknown Soldier, Trollheart, Goofle, Paul Smeenus or misspoptart and most of the forum users complaining their posts are being deleted. Ask yourself why that is.
