Lyric points
 

Hey. Regarding the whole posting lyrics thing. I recon you could get people to do this a whole lot more if you offered something in the way of a points system. By linking it in to the forum profiles, just a simple count of lyrics, or increasing the post count, something like that.

I have a feeling this would work very well. What are the thoughts from the big cheeses?

that is generally a good idea, i doubt that every person on the site writes lyrics or poems and some people might just start posting stupid lyrics and we'd have a forum filled with people's sad attempts to get points. i also doubt that we could get the moderators to look at every thread with lyrics, it's a lot of work on their part, a good idea but did you consider these things?

Yes, I was on about the lyrics that we are asked to submit by other artists. This website has its own database of lyrics it is building and I was refering to those getting points :D

I don't think they even pay attention to the lyric thing anymore, cuz I know i've submitted like 6743626432 since i've joined and I know others have done the same and they still haven't been posted yet

Oh, well perhaps I'll send one of the admin's an email some time.
