Wait, so I keep hearing about this Boo Boo, and I've seen a few of his posts lying around, but I've never really seen this meltdown that I keep hearing about. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone know where I can find this? It sounds amusing.

The way I remember it was a few members were trying that prune command and it wouldn't work and so they called a mod to try it, Freebase did and the rest is history.

I'm pretty sure there was thread about feminism in the Current Events forum that started the whole thing. Boo Boo's gender politics were pretty fucking archaic and I think some of our female member at the time (Lateralus I know for sure) called him out on it. I was among the banned, but I never participated in that thread, I think he was just deleting people at random.

He refused begging for another chance, Yac wouldn't de-mod him unless it was his own choice so we were stuck with him. Then he gets involved in that thread whilst being a prick in the shoutbox and that's when he had his meltdown. Yac had no choice but to de-mod him after than and he was given a months ban. I think that's pretty much the full story now. |
