"Libraries" for the Music Sections
I was thinking about it last night. And I did it for one of my other forums a long time ago. They'll be more like archives but I think it'd be more creative to consider them a "Library of Threads [Name of music section]".
I could easily take care of it and would take a bit of time but it would get done, no doubt about that. Just wanted some thoughts. And if you're wondering about format, this is what it'd look like: Quote:
Feel free to vote in the poll as well. That'll give me a more direct point of view as to whether I should go through with it or not. ------- List of Sections: Punk Hardcore & Emo Rock & Metal Rock N Roll, Classic Rock, and 60's Rock Prog & Psychedelic Rock Rap & Hip Hop Pop Reggae & Ska Indie & Alternative Jazz & Blues Classical Electronica Country, Folk, and World Music Avant Garde / Experimental Soul & Funk Last edited by Key; 04-03-2012 at 02:27 PM. |

So, I suppose i'll just go ahead and start doing these then. I have no idea how long it'll take until they are all completed considering how big some of the sections are. But they'll get done. I'm working on Classical at the moment.

I think that's actually a pretty good idea. While we do have a search function, it's quirky at best.
As for whether the threads should be closed, I'm thinking it might make your job a little easier if they remain open, so others can post links for you to add to the main post, and you'll be editing the main post when new threads are created anyway, so you'll need to have access to it. |
