Seriously.

The name "Urban hatemonger" is a staple of this community and I would be sad to see it go.
Is Bungalow Bill the same Bungalow who was the bane of Boo's existence?

What do you mean dying for a while (it's been dead as hell for at least 3 years ).

I also never ran that place. I would just log in, find out I had a new hat, and hoped for the best I also fully acknowledge my behaviour and attitude was a detriment to the long term success of the site, though there were more issues than just my stubbornness.

This whole thing makes me wonder about the nature of webforums too. Crash Override and myself have obviously crossed paths in the past before, I'm not sure if you're just e-creeping or unrecognized. I've seen plenty of cliques 'pushed' out from old communities swoop onto a slower forum and either try to take over or try to absorb as many community members into their group to take back their 'rightful' forum back. It makes me wonder, especially with older users, how many times have we already posted to each other?

^ Then I`m going to save up $ 75 000, buy a complete set of spare parts and live forever.

Urban, I`m really sorry to hear the news about your job. Being laid off is a real blow, economically and in terms of self-esteem too. I hope you can bounce back quickly, and never forget that you can make a valuable contribution to the workforce, even if, for the moment, some people are saying, "Thanks but no thanks".

Congrats on deciding to stay at MB. Quite rightly, you have a great reputation here, so I hope you continue to enjoy MB for what it is ; a free, friendly, amusing place where you have earned a permanent welcome.

technically, you can't regraft your brain - so no immortality

and the spare parts you get will also atrophy after a while, and you need an additional 75,000

it's just some form of longevity - you might probably stretch to 100, that's about it, provided Alzheimer's doesn't set in

edit - also all the extensive organ transplants will cost more than just 75,000

unless you're a gazillionaire, all the best of luck to you

I think he means encountering each other on other forums without realizing who we are on MB.

I thought it was more like a philosophical question on how members get to know each other, based on how many times members talk to each other for the duration of time they spent on MB. Like the more you come across someone on the forum the more you feel you know them - something along the lines like the Greek saying "You don't know a person unless you eat a pound of salt with them."

I definitely feel like I know a couple of people on Music Banter. I'd love to meet them one day.
