To paraphrase Right-Track: "You're an atheist, we get it, now **** off." I don't feel like I have a problem with anyone doing or saying anything, but I can't stand group-think and I smell too much of it here sometimes.

too long; didn't read: merge the threads.
That doesn't mean that people aren't allowed to discuss their belief or non-belief in Jesus. I started a thread a few months ago asking if atheists believe that Jesus existed just as a person. There are many arguments in that thread FOR and AGAINST his physical existence, and many that actually question his divinity. He could have either been conjured up by early religious groups or have actually existed like any other historical figure, like Tutankhamen or Charlemagne. Religion and anything to do with it makes everybody jump at the opportunity to spew their opinion on it, atheist or not.

If you don't like the discussion that's happening, don't go to that part of the forum. It's really that simple.
