Guys, something like this was actually in the list of requests we made together, and has been sent...

- Stop poll votes from bumping threads
- Add dynamic "new notifications!" link in welcome section, with dropdown menu consolidating notifications. (individual notifications for profile comments, subscribed threads, etc.)

- Implement notification of being quoted in a post
- Add timestamps for posts in the shout box
- Add "******" to the swear filter
- Enable member avatar changes with 175 pixels [width] by 250 pixels [height] limitation (instead of 70 x 70).
Anyway, the N word is now filtered, and cock/dick is now unfiltered. In Yac's words, "The wheels turn slowly, but they do turn".

Give it some time.

Well if they start by doing word filtering, I guess it's going to take an awful lot of time before anything really useful wil happen .
Word filtering is non-sense, if you ask me.
If people really want to insult each other, they'll find a way anyhow.

Big3's suggestion is slightly different from the quoting, however, if quoting is implemented, it could potentially be used in this context as well.
