Why was my thread deleted?
 

The thread entitled 'The Official UK Top 40' under the Rock and Metal section of the forum was deleted.

Why?

You mean this and this that you started within minutes of each other?

@Il Duce, True, but If I've learnt anything over the years here, it's that the mods will leave something that's theoretically against the rules so long as it's providing entertainment :P

haha..i got my first infraction already. so i assume that his theory was right. people who loves songs within top40 here maybe despised.

Sorry Ben, this escaped my attention after my initial response.

The thread wasn't deleted, but it was locked. I can't tell you exactly why as I didn't lock it but chances are it was because it is a thread with little to no future. There is no real content in your post and, in my opinion, no real purpose other than to visit the link to that website.

And Dirty, it's nice to seer views on the mod team. Especially as I have used a great deal of my own time in the past to send you lengthy responses to your PMs and any questions you had.

Keep in mind this is volunteer work son, I don't actually OWE you anything.

Just want to add one more thing in case others see this:

New threads asking why old threads were deleted...yeah, just don't do it. Your gonna get some sarcastic responses. Sorry.

You don't even have to read the rules to figure out a PM would be a better idea than this.
