The reason behind boo boo's madness is his incredibly low self esteem. Every comment that disagreed with his views was taken as a personal attack. EVERY time. I can't tell you how many times I've had to calm him down and explain that he just misunderstood what I/someone else was saying. He even got into it with me a couple times, and I pride myself on keeping discussions discussions and not turn them into arguments. I'm sure boo boo WANTS to change. He just can't.

Pretty sure you and right-track are going at this from different angles. Right-track wants to make MB a place where justice is served so that it's a better forum at the end of the day. You have much more personal issues with boo boo (that I think you need to stop obsessing over) so you just take pleasure in seeing his ban being served.

Well, that's what I've been doing for years. Not literally of course, but yeah I have been given quite some extra chances and understanding just by telling people what's wrong with me.

I mean, I don't know what's wrong with booboo, but judging on the stuff said in this thread, I can't help but thinking that he must have similar problems outside of this forum as well .

They're not exactly personal. I don't like him. Thats the long and short of it.

And if the discussion is ongoing, and one of the most active threads on musicbanter today, and is interesting, I hardly think continuing to post in it is "obsessing", more like you're trying to make out I'm more nvested than I am. This whole bull**** was started in the shoutbox, then anteater made this thread and it spiralled. I have an opinion on it so I stated it, and then we have discussion. Ongoing discussion, to which its not unreasonable to expect me to respond.

You have 29 posts, 10 more than the second highest poster in this thread. I think people are aware of your position on the subject now.

Imagine having to deal with a person like that in real life? I have and it is not fun. Constantly reminding them it's not personal is so hard.

That's what I thought.
I have a forum of my own as you know. And there's a couple of people like BooBoo there. We eventually had to ban one of them because there was no way the forum could cope with him any longer. Main difference here is that practically everyone agreed about that.
I dunno man, call me a hippie good-doer, but if there's any reason to believe that BooBoo is doing the absolute maximum to be a nice person... Wouldn't it be great if we could just accept him here? I know it's a lot of work, but if he's really this socially awkward guy who gets himself into trouble every ****ing time, the best we could do is try and understand that. The more contact he has with people, the more trust he wil gain. Or at least that's how these things usually go. And he probably gets sent away at many places.
I don't know, I wouldn't mind investing some extra energy in someone like BooBoo.

Ghehe, come to think of it... It would be rather funny if he came back in february and hated me from day one .

Anyway, I've made my point. I'm going to leave this topic now as I know I shouldn't be here, not knowing the guy
But I just have this feeling that, if he really can't help himself, there should be at least one place where he's accepted.
Why not here?

No. As an ex mod I know what crap he put mods through willing to give him a second chance.

In fact he had more chances than any other member on MB to date and still loved to wind people up.

BooBoo loves his music. He is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. However that doesn't give you the right to push people to their absolute limits regarding tolerance and he did that time and time again.
