No idea who that is. Whats creepy about is the combination derp/rapeface. The fact its a picture of LES ****ING PAUL only makes it worse.

I'll be your herpes sister, I got a joke infraction from Urban for not posting my own boobs in a thread instead of someone else's.

That Urban's a wildcard. I always expected an infraction to be given out to folks who denied the divinity of Mark E. Smith.

About posting information on bannings: I know sometimes I've wanted to find out why people have been banned, mostly to see if I felt the moderators were behaving fairly. Sometimes, though, I've just wanted to know out of plain curiosity, especially if the person was someone I liked who suddenly disappeared! I'm glad Tore is willing to offer explanations in private, yet I understand moderators won't want to compromise members' privacy. Sometimes members *want* to be banned for their own private reasons, so moderators have to use their judgement when deciding what, if anything, to reveal about the circumstances. What I especially like about MB is that members are so able to raise issues, complaints, and suggestions, even about how moderation itself is handled (such as in this thread), and we almost always get a courteous response from moderators. A feel a great moderator is one who can handle criticism graciously without lashing back...which can be tough to do, but is a good goal. I love it when people are able to have a good discussion about some issue (like Big3 and Conan did here), apologize for things said or done that they recognize were in error, and then move on. For example, Conan, I admire you greatly for the apology you made to Big3. You are young but mighty, Conan: Quote:

Woah.
If this thread were on MF, the initiator would have been banned, anyone who posted in it would have been banned, and the mods would have laid a big guilt trip down about how dedicated they are to the site, and how it's no one elese's ****ing business to even be curious about why their favorite member was banned, or to even talk about it. How mature of you all to actually have an actual discussion about it. Impressed. |

In that case MF just sucks .
But I should admit that I've been to a lot of forums in my life and there's not quite one like this.
