As far as I'm concerned, if your off-site actions have or are likely to have on-site consequences (such as impersonating me on Skye and insulting another member), you're just as liable and I can't give two ****s about how it was off-site and I'm not all powerful and can't control you and etc etc. If you do something that directly affects the quality of the site, that's justification for punitive action. This isn't an official mod stance,
It's just mine. And if the situation ever comes up, I'll definitely be lobbying for
It.

That said, the IRC Chat is an official extension of MusicBanter built by our good friend and pirate tore. What happens there is considered on-site. The same rules apply. Everybody needs to get used to it.

ya know, I could hardly care less either way

Dirty's fine with me, but I garner from his posts that he has a BIG chip on his shoulders with the mods here

How did it affect the quality of the site?

So let's say I call all of the abortion clinics in Canada and make appointments saying that I'm Dayvan Cowboy. Would you ban me for that?

If that's what it's for then... Well, I can't disagree.

I mean... Dirty is an ok guy to talk to, but does he really contribute that much to this site? If he's pulling of moronic pranks in comparison to his practically non-existent music discussion(Something he's obviously got in trouble for before), then I say a good ban is a way to cool him off, assuming he gets the point this time.

Or was that simply a hypothetical?

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

as opposed to somebody like The Virgin who is contributing healthily and intelligently towards all subjects which he is obviously well-versed in?
