At first I thought a Post Punk week would be cool, but I was talking with someone about it and they didn't like the idea. So yeah, I'd totally be game for a Billy Joel week if everyone else wants to, since he's awesome. :yeah:

The Batlord 07-01-2015 03:37 PM

I'm very happy for the three people who will enjoy that!

Pet_Sounds 07-01-2015 03:38 PM

I wasn't entirely serious, but we can give it a shot. Maybe a Stones week would better--more people seem to appreciate their genius.

The Batlord 07-01-2015 03:46 PM

An even better idea for your dad rock jerkoff fest!

How about a Kinks week? :D

Oriphiel 07-01-2015 04:06 PM

Well, we could do a Manowar week, but then instead of being a jerkoff fest, it'd be a fest for jerkoffs. :finger:

The Batlord 07-01-2015 04:09 PM

I'd actually be amused to see what a bunch of people who didn't like Manowar do with a whole week of listening to them.

Even though I was joking before, I'd actually be pretty ecstatic for a week dedicated to a metal band. :yeah:

The Batlord 07-01-2015 04:32 PM

I just want Pet_Sounds to agree to a week of grindcore.

I think Manowar Month has to happen. ****ing hilarious! I'd definitely be in.

Month? That would probably mean I'd have to spend way too much time with Gods of War and their latest album which I haven't even been able to bring myself to listen to yet.

Oriphiel 07-01-2015 05:56 PM

Make it Manowar Week instead of month, and you shall have my sword as well. Together, let us rid the land of lesser Metal!

Pet_Sounds 07-01-2015 07:25 PM

I'll participate, on the condition Batty listens to and reviews a Billy Joel album.

Trollheart 07-01-2015 07:29 PM

I can't wait to see some of the ironic reviews. Everyone should be forced to do one.

The Batlord 07-01-2015 08:02 PM

I'm down. How we doin' this?

Moss 07-01-2015 08:34 PM

I'm in. I have never heard a Manowar song.

Moss 07-01-2015 09:09 PM

That's actually not bad.

Goofle 07-02-2015 05:52 AM

Steel Panther week?

We could make a "Manowar Week" thread, with a list of their albums. Everyone who is interested in participating could pick an album and review/praise/burn it at their leisure.

Plankton 07-02-2015 10:26 AM

I'm in for MOW Week.

Oh god yes.

I think we're decided, are we, on Manowar Week? If so, then let the one who knows all about True Metal lay down a list of their albums and we shall all chooseth one from the pile (I recuse myself from Battle Hymns and Hail to England, as I have already reviewed them) and let the warriors of glory ride forth! Last one alive is a wet ponce! Death to false something!

Thelonious Monkey 07-02-2015 12:22 PM

I'm in as well. I'll probably do Battle Hymns if it isn't taken.

You know you're not getting paid if you don't turn up, dont'cha? :D

Trollheart 07-02-2015 03:16 PM

OK I'm taking Sign of the Hammer if that's ok?

Done.

Thelonious Monkey 07-02-2015 04:05 PM

So I'm taking Battle Hymns.

Excellent album!

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 07-02-2015 05:54 PM

I'll do Louder Than Hell if that's cool.

The Batlord 07-02-2015 06:04 PM

I'll do the last one, The Lord of Steel, as that's the only one I haven't actually listened to yet. 15 & 17 are just rerecordings of previous albums BTW. Not worth your time if you can just listen to the originals TBH.

Alright, you both are on the list.

The Batlord 07-02-2015 06:58 PM

We may very well have to double up on albums though. I doubt we'll get a flood of requests.

Hurry up and review a Billy Joel album so we can get Pet Sounds on board!

The Batlord 07-02-2015 07:25 PM

Which one will I be able to most humorously review?
