I just have one, lame, gross n00b question for you guys.

Besides the written rules, are there any other reasons to ban people? If so, could you name a few?
I'm curious, because I'm afraid I'll an outburst on this site and get myself permabanned from a forum again.

An isolated outburst isn't really something we ban for around here. A person might get an infraction for that, but not a permaban.
It's repeat offenders that demonstrate they're not willing to heed warnings and follow rules that get permabanned.
That, and spammers, obviously.
