Country, Folk & World Music - Music Banter

We have a Country, Folk, & World Music forum already. Not enough people here are into Roots or Americana so it doesn't really make sense to give it it's own forum.

Yes, and by definition, roots and Americana qualifies as a subgenre of of all three of the descriptors for this forum: country, folk, and world. since it is a derivative (a predecessor of) country music, is representative of American folk music (in the sociological sense, if not the in the sense of what is as widely accepted as being the folk genre), as well as being by definition world music as it is musically representative of the of the American cultural heritage.
Our site already has more forums than what it actually needs. Why start a new one that will not get used but by the smallest minority of users? It's like building a warehouse to store a pair of shoes.
