I looked and looked through this list, I even used a 'search', but I couldn't find post-punk, only punk. Considering how rich and exciting post-punk period was, I'm sure there are many people here who would have a lot to contribute to that theme.
Also there's noise rock, drone, math rock, but no post-rock?

I can't think of any post-punk band that couldn't get discussed in other theme weeks. For example Siouxsie and the Banshees have been mentioned in this week's goth rock thread. Still, I'll add it to the bottom of the list, so then it'll be post-punk week in a couple of years.

None of these bands could get mentioned during new wave, punk or avantgarde week for example, nor any other week? Post-punk is the only term which can describe these bands musically? I don't believe you.
