As long as fights between moderators don't break out on the public forums, I guess it doesn't matter that much. ;)

A bit of drama can be refreshing as it livens up the forums a bit I guess.

Are you suggesting we nominate someone we have no prior knowledge of? I'm sure that would turn out well.

Just set it up so the next person to register an account becomes a moderator, that would really kick things up a notch.

This isn't an election though. This is a call for regulars who'd be interested in helping us moderate this place to let us know that they're up for the position, and also to basically give us a shortlist of members to refer back to next time a vacancy pops up.
