Yea i got this referal in my profile and i wanted to know what it means. I know it means someone whos signed up put my name but like im guessing i don't get anything for it so whats it there for? 'street cred' or what?

I have a feeling there used to be contests and stuff ages ago.. But then they kinda died out. But then again I also might have dreamt that. I do that sometimes...

when the site first started up, there was a contest type of thing for people who got the most referals, now it's just there to show how many people joined the forums on your recomendation.

Yeah we can setup bonuses for # of referrals and such. It's not used currently though.
