Since there are so many new members asking how to get an Avatar, I thought I'd put this up to cut down the number of new threads on this topic. First of all, you need 50 posts before you'll be able to upload an avatar. However, this doesn't mean that you have to post one word messages in the forums, or posts that have no relevance to the topic of discussion. Post whoring (as we refer to it) just clogs up the forums and makes having good discussions within threads a lot harder, so please, build up your post count with insightful posts that add somehting to the discussion. After you get 50 posts, you'll be able to upload an avatar. If you're not sure how to do this, go into the FAQ section at the top toolbar, and it will give you instructions.
