Hi - I'm new to music banter. I need to get a feel for this place. I posted a thread earlier and I'm pretty sure it got deleted. It was a totally sincere post about a music site I made - but I think the moderators may have thought I was disguising advertising or something...

So suggestions - how do I "legally" talk about a music site I have? I know there is the 15 posts thing - but I just wanted to let people know about my site. Is the 15 posts my end all be all solution or how else can I post a thread without having it deleted?

The nature of the post was - here's my site, take a look, feedback, and requesting people's music for the site. Thanks

Unless you are a long time contributer to the forum you don't.

If we allow you to do it we have to allow the other 300 people who come here a day just wanting feedback on their stuff without making any effort to contribute to our site.

That's the way the members of this site want it so thats how it's run.
I suggest a different forum
