Side-question: Who manages this site? There are no ads (thank you jesus) and I'm just wondering what keeps this site floating.

The first thing that came to mind was word getting out that Yac can give bigger avys and him loggin on to a full box with PM's titled 'AVATAR HELP!'

Do you know how the whole vBulletin thing works? Does the owner have to update it every so often? I remember gregb did something before where MB was down for a period of time, then when we logged back on we had that sexy banner up top and a shout box amongst other things. Are there different plug ins that he can add?

Out of pocket cash from an unkown man that owns the site. It blows my mind as well.

I don't know but i'm going to go out on a limb. Here are some possible things.


1. They might have bought a lifetime website name (I forget what they call it)

2. Musicbanter may be backed up by another website.

3. The site owner may own another site that is succesful and has ads that make him money to keep both sites running.

4. Charities maybe.

5. Could be someone that could be paying right out of their own pocket to keep this site floating well.

Posts in community center should be counted

I Don't think they should. Everyones post count would be incredibly high.

I know mine would be at like 200,000 lol

I don't know. The lounge and related are not for music related posting. This site is for posting about music. I.E. The site name. Musicbanter. We Banter about Music. So The Lounge and related have nothing to do with music therefore the post count should not be added up there.

look at our deep discussions surely they should count as atleast a few posts
