No, if you make a double post he will give you 6 infractions... But the lounge is for off topic disscussions, basically everything goes and its less moderated.

In all sincerity, what one infraction does more than anything is just let mods know that here is a member who posts 1 word posts, trolls, makes useless threads or whatever. Mods can easily see all members infraction history. If you ever gain 1 infraction to your account, that itself won't have any practical consequences for you unless you keep getting more. Think of them as warnings or consequence.

In all honesty the vast majority of people are on here to have in depth topical discussions about music & posts counts are really irrelevant (IMO).

I didnt really understand all this 'infraction' talk until you explained it here just now, I had the idea it was some kind of discipline though lol.

Its practically impossible/inapporpriate to post one word posts unless your trolling anyway.
I mean the least I could probably do is 'very good' or something & thats two words!

By the way (Ive been wondering) is it not kind of annoying being a Mod on this forum? I mean with all the responsibilities in life with being a virtual moderator added to it.

I think if most view you favourably except for a minority of rulebreakers who think of you as a demon, that's probably an indicator you're doing something right ;) As moderators, we take freedoms away from people - the freedom to break the rules - and we punish. People subject to moderation don't like that so of course a mod won't be popular with everyone and I think that just comes with the job.

As for added responsibilities, it can certainly become tedious (not saying it is here, but I have experiences from elsewhere), but then having a large moderators team helps .. when you're off for a few days, someone else is there to pick up the slack and you do the same for them when they're gone.
