Yes they are, but they are games.

I think all aspects of music, whether it be direct focuses on a particular artist or genre or light hearted 'games' (as you put it) such as 'This Band Vs That Band' or 'What Are You Listening To Right Now' should be included/allowed.

To remove these ,I think, would only limit the wide variety of topics that this site provides.

The system we have had in place regarding Lounge posts works well and is not likely to change. The lounge generally allows for posts that may only be one sentence long and as such are discounted because of the flippant nature of many lounge posts.
