Okay, so it looks like right now only us brand new mods have the ability to upload larger avatars. What this means is there are only going to be a couple of us doing this so please don't inundate us with a ton of repeat requests. Pick an avatar you like and stick with it for a while. :)

Hmmm... the system is still resizing it to make it small. It didn't do that when I tried it on myself, but maybe that's the limit of my newfound powers. Let me get back to you on this WWWP.

@wolvethingy, or any regular member...go to your 'User CP' > 'Edit Avatar'.

Do you have a avatar size limit shown at the bottom of the options.

e.g; Mine reads as this...Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 500 by 500 pixels or 195.3 KB (whichever is smaller).

What does yours read?

The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 19.5 KB (whichever is smaller).

Does that mean even mawds can give us bigger avvys?

It means mods can have bigger avvies, but mortals can't.

I'm tired of my current one. I'll go with an old reliable for any music forum: a black and white of Dylan from the mid to late 60s with sunglasses on and smoking a cigarette.

Resize it so it's a bit smaller, it's sorta big.

Not quite that big, but it's a pretty detailed picture, so I would like it to be a decent size. I'm sorry that's pretty vague, however I trust your judgment, please and thank you :)

Whenever this thing gets back up and running I am giving up Joe Strummer avatars in favour of train wrecks.

I could also make a burger myself, but if someone else is offering to do it I may as well take them up on their offer.

I know it won't happen this year but I'd like to change my avatar to this:

the moderators actually appreciate it more when you do it yourself.

I can't speak for the other mods but I'm pretty sure I never offered to resize anyone's avatar for them.

We still are not able to hook up the big avatars for you. If we do it, the avatar will be just as small as if you do it.

I'm going lock this thread again until the issue is resolved.
