Exclamation search function

it seems like whenever i want to search through these great forums for bands i know or want to get to know...i have issues.

either i dont meet the proper word length, have gone over the word length, or i have searched within the past 15 sec(usually after i get one of the other 2). is there any way to change the settings on this?

try and think of an association for whatever you are searching for i.e if you are looking for a certain band type in their most popular album and go from there.

Just as good, google what it is you want to search for as normal and add; +MusicBanter...on the end.
