Having familiar names across the board gives the site an air of predictability and the whole point of MB is it's refreshing air of non conformity and I agree. I don't think ANY band should be on there.

Having faces that aren't instantly familiar and recognisable by everybody is a far worse idea.
The whole point of MB isn't to promote nonconformity either, although it is refreshing. Old artists are just as important as new ones in the world of music.

The existing banner looks pretty bland and outdated.
Something a bit more colourful and modern, maybe even arty, wouldn't do the site any harm.

I still think the idea of using artists that have already been inducted into the hall of fame is the best idea yet, but it's not a prerequisite.

There's no rush to submit entries because there's no time limit, but I'd like to see a lot more banners of decent quality before having a member vote.
