Looks cool, but a fender would look better than a les paul imo, or maybe you can flip the guitar upside down so you at a very slanted view of the guitar looking down the fret board, with the head of the guitar closest to you. Eh...

I viewed the source of this page and found that the actual dimensions of that flash file acting as the banner for this forum is width="996" height="90". I guess admin also intended the banner to have slight animations to it as opposed to just keeping it as a static image.

It has to be a Les Paul to earlier comments, there's nothing more iconic.

I chose Les Paul because it's more important to music and isn't as cliche as, say, a strat.
