Which of these is the most important, in your opinion?

And which album should I remove to make room for it? I'm thinking Circle Jerks.

I still have some priceless vinyl copies, but have replaced my whole library with CD versions now.

The sheer scale of the classical period is daunting at first, but you could simply start with Bach as the giant of the Baroque period, then move into the prime time interval with the giants of the field, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky etc. and finish with Shostakovich/Stravinsky/Rachmaninoff. Then UberFilmBuff could add the modern composers whose music was predominantly used in films and that brings us right up to date. Just a thought, this introduction thread is a very good idea.

Of course having Seltzer involved in this would add the gravitas necessary to get more people to actually check it out.
If you'd like to lend your voice, just say the word.

Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables
Black Flag - Damaged
Bad Brains - Bad Brains
Minor Threat - First Two 7"s on a 12"
Circle Jerks - Group Sex

?
Don't forget Suicidal Tendencies' debut album. Probably the best-selling hardcore punk album to date.

What is the timetable involved Lucifer,,,when would we have to have our part completed? I'm only asking because I'm really busy with work and before I commit to your intro threads I want to be sure I could get everything done. Oh and I'm not sure if Seltzer or Kevorkian Logic both declined to do classical or not, let me know, I don't want to step on anybodies toes.

Hello UberFilmBuff, sounds like a good idea to me, I know the older composers very well, but the new guys other than John Williams etc., are a mystery to me, any help with them would be appreciated.

^ You're also the type who doesn't read threads before they post in them.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

Eek, Whoever is doing the Indie/Alternative one, I could throw in some things if it's needed.

Kevorkian Logic requested I remove her name. You can collaborate with Seltzer if you'd like - that would be awesome, as classical is a VERY large genre with many different movements. I'm sure there's plenty of work.

Lucy, I think someone else should do the funk portion of my second intro. I have a few things put together for Classic Rock, but what should my final template look like?
